When i was comparing job offers last year I was trying to find a good cost of living comparator so I could figure out exactly how my offers stacked up.  Every one I tried was either broken or essentially useless.  However, I really like this one (from Bankrate.com) - it seems to come up with a good estimate, at least based on what I know about a handful of cities that I compared, plus it breaks...
