An interesting article about how AT&T ended up being the carrier to offer the iPhone.  It’s really more about the history of cell phones, though, which I found more interesting.

On a side note, if you like reading (slightly biased) histories of the tech world and how various technologies and companies came to be, Roughly Drafted has some pretty interesting articles.  It’s like Wikipedia - you go there and click around because things keep sounding interesting, and all of the sudden it’s 3 hours later and you have 10 windows open.
